Hunter/Firearms Safety Courses
2017 Firearm Safety Courses
The Canadian Firearms Safety courses are a requirement for anyone who wishes to obtain their federal firearms license.
In Canada, there are two levels of licensing you may take the test and apply for, depending on the type of firearm you wish to possess:
- P A L (Possession Acquisition License) - "Non-Restricted" (most rifles)
- R P A L (Restricted Possession Acquisition License) - "Restricted" (most handguns)
Hunter Safety / PAL
Provincial law requires all hunters to have safety training. The student must be at least 12 years old prior to the class start date.
At completion, you will have tested for the provincial hunter safety certificate and the federal non-restricted firearm license (PAL).
You must attend all classes in a session
