Our Organization

The Saskatoon Wildlife Federation has been the proud host of the Saskatoon Sports & Leisure Show for the past 65 years. The show brings hundreds of vendors, recreational opportunities and products to one place. For more information about the show, visit: www.saskatoonsportsandleisureshow.com.

We have become a trusted source of Hunter Safety & Canadian Firearms Safety Courses thanks to our dedicated group of volunteer instructors. We also offer indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, recreational and competitive shooting clubs, hall rental, and summer camps.

Program Information

Hunt 4 Hunger

Thank you to the hunters and outfitters who have donated to Hunt 4 Hunger already this season. Your donations are greatly appreciated by the Saskatoon Food Bank and the families who receive the meat. In 2016, we've provided over 700+ pounds of venison to the food bank, bringing our running total to over 10,000 pounds!

How Does H4H Work?

During hunting season, we accept tagged big game that has been skinned and cleaned. Donors fill out a short form including tag information, harvest zone and date the animal was taken.

You may choose to donate all or part of the animals.

Meat is processed by Saskatoon Wildlife Federation staff and volunteers and packaged for distribution by Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.

For more information, or to arrange to donate meat for this program, please visit or call our office.

Trout Pond

Our trout pond is stocked annually and open to the public. A valid fishing license is required, and we promote catch & release, with a daily limit of one. Please use caution when ice-fishing in our aerated pond, and obey all posted rules.

In co-operation with the Fish in Schools (FinS) program, we are proud to partner with E.D. Feehan Catholic High School and Clavet School. We look forward to their successful release of 2017's hatch.
