Our Organization

The Saskatoon Wildlife Federation has been the proud host of the Saskatoon Sports & Leisure Show for the past 68 years. The show brings hundreds of vendors, recreational opportunities and products to one place. For more information about the show, visit: www.saskatoonsportsandleisureshow.com.

We have become a trusted source of Hunter Safety & Canadian Firearms Safety Courses thanks to our dedicated group of volunteer instructors. We also offer indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, recreational and competitive shooting clubs, hall rental, and summer camps.

Hunt 4 Hunger

Thank you to the hunters and outfitters who have donated to Hunt 4 Hunger already this season. Your donations are greatly appreciated by the Saskatoon Food Bank and the families who receive the meat.

Habitat Trust

Saskatoon Wildlife Federation has proudly donated over $300,000 to Saskatchewan's Habitat Trust for the conservation of critical wildlife habitat.

Trout Pond

Our trout pond is stocked annually and open to the public. A valid fishing license is required, and we promote catch & release, with a daily limit of one. Please use caution when ice-fishing in our aerated pond, and obey all posted rules.

The Hyde Project

In partnership with Ducks Unlimited, we have donated $100,000 to this project.

  • I lost my Hunter Safety Card, how do I get a new one?

    Contact the SAFE Organization.

  • I would like to take the Hunter Safety Course but I can't make it twice a week what can I do?

You can do an online course though the SAFE Organization.

  • I took the hunter safety course in another province is it valid here in Saskatchewan?

    Yes it is.

  • I have sent my paper work into the Canadian Firearm Centre, how long does it take before I get my PAL back?

Processing time is 6 to 8 weeks. Much depends on providing accurate information. One of the busiest times of the year is before and during hunting season.

  • I have a restricted firearm and need to know the land location of the club for my transport license.

Indoor land location is: SE-24-37-5 W3

Outdoor land location is: SW-24-37-3 W3
